Dissemination of undergraduate research: A best practices roundtable symposium hosted by writing across the curriculum

This roundtable symposium will explore a range of models that have been developed across the disciplines by UBC students and faculty to enable the dissemination of undergraduate research. Models may include undergraduate research journals, three-minute thesis competitions, undergraduate research symposia and conferences, course-based blogs, podcasts, course-based poster sessions, and public outreach initiatives. Come and join in lively small-group discussions around how these different models are being used to facilitate teaching and learning!

What is on the horizon at UBC? Creating a UBC specific Horizon Report

Pillar: Transformative Learning

The Horizon Report is an annual report that has served to identify key technologies, practices and trends likely to influence higher education with horizons of under one year, two to three years and five years out. Join us to conduct an institutional scan using a modified Delphi process to identify a list of candidate emerging technologies and will surface other resources useful in determining technologies and practices to be aware of for planning for the future.
